Arshad has two decades of operational experience as a startup founder and operator with two exits. Arshad’s ventures include MetroNaps (the makers of nap pods used by Google, Procter & Gamble, and Cisco), InterviewJet (an e-recruiting service that introduces hiring managers to 3-5 candidates each week), and Power 20 (publishers of the Prenatal Workout, one of the top exercise apps for expecting mothers).
Arshad is also an active and successful startup investor on his personal account, with more than 12 years of experience. He is an early investor in Pathao in Bangladesh, one of the country’s first startups to pass US$100 million in valuation, and Field Trip Health, which is listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange in 2020.
He was also an advisor APH finance and RC ventures, a Hong Kong-based family office and a Bangladesh-based investment fund, respectively. As an advisor, Arshad leveraged his experience as an entrepreneur to identify, conduct due diligence and recommend investments for both entities.
Arshad received a degree in Economics from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
